Come Home

LCLT homes are protected for Lahaina families and priced within reach of local ʻohana.

LCLT is committed to a process that is fair, transparent, legally sound, and rooted in supporting the Lahaina community. This is just one of many future homeownership opportunities LCLT is working to create to help keep Lahaina families in Lahaina. Future offerings will have different eligibility criteria, income thresholds, and program requirements depending on the home, partnerships involved and our Lahaina community's everchanging housing needs. Tucked into the Mill Camp neighborhood, 915 Puiki Place is a planned single-story, three-bedroom, two-bath home being developed through a partnership between LCLT and Habitat for Humanity Maui. Scheduled for completion in summer 2027, the home will offer approximately 1,350 square feet of living space plus an attached carport on a 4,837-square-foot lot, designed for a household of four or more. Because of the smaller size of this piece of ‘āina, this will be the only home built on it.

This home comes with a shared kuleana. The ‘ohana who makes this house their home must partner with Habitat for Humanity Maui throughout the path to homeownership, contributing Kōkua Hours through building Habitat homes, ReStore volunteering, fundraising support, educational opportunities, and other approved activities. Kōkua Hours can come from the applicant, household members, or supporters — a path to homeownership truly made possible by the kōkua of so many hands.
